Candidate Referral Terms

By making a referral to Finiten Ltd (“Finiten”), you agree to the following terms:

 

1. Referral reward

 

Finiten will pay a £500 cash reward where a referred candidate is successfully placed in the specific Finiten-advertised role for which the referral was originally made.

 

2. When a reward is payable

 

A reward is only payable if:

 

  • the referral is made directly to Finiten;

  • it relates to a specific advertised vacancy;

  • the candidate is not already known to Finiten in connection with that vacancy;

  • the candidate is offered and accepts that exact role;

  • the candidate starts in that exact role;

  • the candidate successfully completes any applicable probation period; and

  • Finiten receives the placement fee from the client for that placement.

 

3. No reward for other roles

 

No reward will be paid if the referred candidate:

 

  • is hired for a different role with the same client;

  • is hired by a different client;

  • is not placed in the exact role for which they were referred; or

  • was already known to Finiten, under consideration, or had already applied for that role before the referral was received.

 

4. Duplicate referrals

 

If the same candidate is referred by more than one person, only the first referral received by Finiten will qualify.

 

5. No payment in certain circumstances

 

No reward will be payable if:

 

  • the candidate does not start;

  • the candidate withdraws before starting;

  • the client withdraws the offer;

  • the candidate leaves, is dismissed, or does not complete probation;

  • Finiten does not receive its placement fee; or

  • Finiten reasonably believes the scheme has been misused.

 

6. Eligibility

 

Finiten may refuse a referral or decline payment where:

  • the referrer is a Finiten employee, unless agreed otherwise in writing;

  • the referral is made without the candidate’s knowledge or authority;

  • the referral breaches any law, confidentiality obligation or third-party duty; or

  • false, misleading or incomplete information has been provided.

 

7. Referrer responsibilities

 

By making a referral, you confirm that:

 

  • you have the candidate’s permission to share their details;

  • the information provided is accurate to the best of your knowledge; and

  • your referral does not breach any legal or contractual obligation.

 

8. Tax

 

The referrer is responsible for any tax or other liability arising from receipt of the reward.

 

9. Changes

 

Finiten may amend, suspend or withdraw the referral scheme or these terms at any time.

 

10. Final decision

 

Finiten’s decision on whether a referral qualifies for payment is final.

 

11. Governing law

 

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
